Samsung introduces ISOCELL , photo sensor for high-performance smartphones

Samsung has shown what will be the base of the photographic industry for the next Galaxy devices : ISOCELL is a new CMOS image sensor , logically dedicated to the mobile(Lenovo A820) industry. At the base of the new product we have advanced technology for the management of pixels , which analyzes the absorption of electrons ensuring color fidelity improved compared to the past, especially when the environmental conditions are not optimal brightness .

The new sensor will be integrated in smartphones and tablet top of the line from the end of 2013 and improve its current technology BSI ( back-side illuminated ) sensors used in today's adding " a physical barrier between contiguous pixels " , isolating the individual pixels .
